A club for high school musicians who want more.

This opportunity is designed for high school string musicians who want to grow their skills and share music in a supportive community. Membership includes:
  • Weekly chamber music sessions across a variety of genres and styles

  • Guidance in essential musician skills like stage presence, teamwork, and time management

  • Free participation in special events (Spooktober Strings, Christmas Strings, Valentine Strings)

  • Exclusive access to community performance opportunities throughout the year

Open Strings Project

Bringing joyful, cheerful tunes to the community just in time for Spring! Join Julie and friends for a fun and cheerful spring concert at local senior living communities. We’ll have two relaxed rehearsals and two heartwarming performances. It’s all about sharing music, making memories, and bringing smiles. For 8th-12th grade strings students Rehearsals: Wednesday and Thursday, April 29 & 30, 7-8:30pm at the Olympia Center Performances will be scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 2 & 3 Registration fee: $35

With an OSP membership, students will gain meaningful experiences both inside and outside the rehearsal room—in a positive and fun environment.

Fall session will meet Mondays in October and November, from 7-8:30pm at the Olympia Center

Full-term Open Strings members: $205 for the 8-week session, plus receive a custom OSP T-shirt as part of the experience!

Drop-in members: $30 per session – join whenever you can, no long-term commitment required. A separate registration for Spooktober and Christmas Strings will be required.
