Friendly Reminders:

  • Lesson Commitment: Students are encouraged to keep their scheduled lesson day and time from September through May. If you need to discontinue lessons, please provide a month’s notice. You’ll be responsible for paying for the final month of lessons.
For instance, rather than notifying me on March 29 that it’s your last month, kindly let me know at the beginning of March that you’ll be finishing at the end of the month. This helps me plan for the upcoming change and manage my schedule and income. I understand that unexpected situations arise, but if you anticipate a change, please keep me informed.
  • Seasonal Sports and Lesson Conflicts: If a student is involved in a seasonal sport that conflicts with their lesson time, there are a few options:
    ○ Some coaches are flexible and may allow students to leave early or arrive late to practices on lesson days. Consider discussing this with the coach to see if it’s possible.
    ○ If the weekly lesson conflicts with meets or games, and adjusting practice times isn’t an option, you can continue payments to reserve your lesson time. I will hold the spot for you as long as it’s paid for.
    ○ If you choose not to hold the lesson spot, please give me a month’s notice when you know the sports season is approaching. If you wish to resume lessons after the season, we can see if I have availability or wait for an opening.

I want all my students to participate in the activities they love, but I’m unable to provide reschedules or make-ups for everyone when scheduling conflicts arise. Your understanding is appreciated!

If everything looks good and you’re comfortable with the details, I’d appreciate it if you could sign here to confirm. Your agreement helps ensure we’re all on the same page moving forward.
